Huawei has been known for some time now for making wearable products such as smartwatches. But it may be developing a new Huawei AR glasses that can power your next smartwatch.
According to a patent filed by Huawei, the Chinese giant is testing a new pair of glasses that work only when you insert your smartwatch into them.
Huawei AR glasses
The patent spotted by LetsGoDigital describes Huawei’s new AR glasses as“a lightweight, discrete and relatively inexpensive AR headset”.
The Glasses itself won’t include a camera, display or a microphone. And its Augmented Reality features won’t work until you use your smartwatch. But it will be equipped with a mirror and an adapter.
The adapter will be close to the smartwatch after you insert it in the glasses, while the mirror will display smartwatch content in AR form.
